As of January 1, 2025, insurers in New Hampshire are required to reimburse providers equally, regardless of licensure physician vs nurse practitioner!
This is a huge step forward in parity for services for nurse practitioners! Over 50 years of quality research shows that nurse practitioners provide at LEAST care quality equal to physicians, regardless of oversight. Nurse practitioners deserve the same level of reimbursement for their services as their physician counterparts!
This needs to happen in Florida! Call your legislators and let them know that nurse practitioners deserve equal pay for equal services!
